    This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida and is responsible for providing resources for optimal nutritional care to the employees of UF Health Jacksonville Medical Center. Applicants must be able to develop and deliver educational materials regarding lifestyle change as it relates to nutrition, physical activity, and stress management. They will be expected to assist in the planning and coordination of all wellness events as well as order the food appropriate for each event. Applicants must have the skills and experience in creative marketing through flyers, handouts and newsletters along with electronic communication. They will also be expected to assist in tracking and analyzing wellness data as well as participate in wellness rounding throughout the hospital departments including night shift events. 

    Other Qualifications Include:

    • Bachelor degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited university

    • 3 years’ experience as a practicing dietitian preferred

    • Experience providing wellness programs and initiatives within a workplace setting

    • Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and Florida state licensure

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills for preparing presentations, newsletters, and handouts as well as excel spreadsheets

    • Experience in creating and delivering high quality, professional presentations using current research and publications

    • Ability to work in a high paced team environment and collaborate on all wellness events with the team

    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff

    The Nutrition Support Dietitian role is to implement, monitor and maintain parenteral and enteral medical nutrition therapy in patients that cannot meet their nutritional requirements by oral intake. This position will perform direct patient nutrition care to include: nutrition screening and assessment; development and implementation of nutrition care; patient, family and staff education. 

    Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Service and Human Nutrition, Human Nutrition or Dietetics. Preferred candidates will have a Masters degree.     Compass Group is currently seeking a high energy, dynamic Dietitian for a school district in Jacksonville. As a Dietitian you will support the Resident Dietitian with developing and conducting nutritional training programs for the students, Compass Group employees and the community. You will also assist with conducting nutritional analysis on new products, be informed of any changes to USDA regulations and communicate all changes to the field. Effective communication is an essential skill for the position as you work with parents and staff in determining alternatives food items for children with food allergies and/or medical conditions requiring menu alterations.
