The Nutrition Support Dietitian role is to implement, monitor and maintain parenteral and enteral medical nutrition therapy in patients that cannot meet their nutritional requirements by oral intake. This position will perform direct patient nutrition care to include: nutrition screening and assessment; development and implementation of nutrition care; patient, family and staff education.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Service and Human Nutrition, Human Nutrition or Dietetics. Preferred candidates will have a Masters degree. Candidates must have completed an ADA approved dietetics internship program, have current ADA registrations or be registration eligible. Candidates must also have three years of experience in clinical, hospital based nutrition with a preference of two years or experience in working nutrition support.
